Stroll along gorgeous George Street and start your Christmas shopping, before heading to Glasson Park for some free festive activities and the 2020 Christmas lights 'switch' (7.30pm).

~ Furoshiki Sustainable Gift Wrapping 5pm-7pm

~ Street Library thanks to the local network of Little Librarians, 5pm-8pm

~ Christmas Carols Glyde-in Singers, 7pm-8pm

And, in case you wear your poor feet out by walking to the park, and around it, plus checking out the local Street Library network whilst discovering #eastfreo Fairy Gardens and getting sidetracked by one, or many, of the East Fremantle Heritage Trail buildings the very kind people at Podiatrist Perth (83 George Street) have available a FREE ENHANCED BIOMECHANIC ASSESSMENT (valued at $90)!

~ Christmas Pudding / Pies
~ Tinned Meats
~ Spreads (Jam / Vegemite / Honey)
~ Breakfast Bars
~ Coffee
~ Canned Fish
~ Canned Fruit
~ Sauces / Gravy Powder
~ Christmas Crackers
All non-perishable items not past their expiry date will be accepted.

This is a SUSTAINABLE Event

The event has been coordinated with consideration of the Town of East Fremantle Sustainable Events Policy;
Balloons and Confetti – excluded from the event.
Decorations – limited to those which can be reused.
Polystyrene and Styrofoam – excluded from the event, including in relation to the sale and distribution of food / beverages.
Promotional Material – the focus is on electronic marketing (website, email newsletter and social media).
Rubbish – clearly labelled sets of Recycling, FOGO and General Waste bins will be provided.
Single-use Plastics – excluded from the event, including straws, cutlery, cups, bottles (including individual single use water bottles), plates, containers and bags.
Transport – promotions will focus on walking, cycling and public transport options.
Water – “Indra” will be onsite to provide a reusable bottle / cup refill option, free of cost.
