A Local Planning Scheme is the primary statutory document outlining development controls, including land zoning, permissible uses, development scale, dwelling density and other essential details on how development should progress within the Town of East Fremantle. It will provide rationale for the direction of growth and development within the Town.
The actions and recommendations outlined in the Local Planning Strategy, endorsed by Council and the WAPC in 2022, will guide the formulation of land use zoning and development controls as the Town works towards drafting LPS 4.

A number of community engagement events will be held throughout the process of the preparing LPS4.
