MARKYT Community Scorecard

Help create a better Town of East Fremantle!

Once every two years, we invite community members to complete a MARKYT® Community Scorecard to help shape our future.

This study helps us understand what we are doing well, where we can improve, and what matters most to our community.

Through participation in the MARKYT® Benchmarking Excellence Program we also get to benchmark our performance against other Local Governments across Australia.

This year, results will inform the development of our new Plan for the Future – our integrated Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Plan.

Who can take part?

All community members aged 18+ years are invited to take part – this includes residents, ratepayers, local businesses, community groups, customers and visitors. Younger community members may also take part with their parent or guardian permission.

The scorecard will be open from Monday 4 August to Friday 22 August 2025.

During 2023, the Town commissioned independent research company, CATALYSE, to conduct a community survey in East Fremantle.

The Town was the equal number 1 local government area:

  • as a 'place to live' and
  • as a 'governing organisation'

as determined by our 2023 MARKYT Community Scorecard.

The Town would like to thank you for taking the time to complete the 2023 MARKYT Community Scorecard.
