Get ready for your green waste verge collection

Published on Thursday, 14 May 2026 at 9:26:02 AM

Green waste collections will begin across the Town on Monday 25 May.

Residents are advised to check all waste for potential signs of Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer before disposal.

If you see signs of borer, keep the waste at your property and contact the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development on (08) 9368 3080.

Green waste can be placed on the verge up to seven days prior to the collection date. Green waste placed on the verge earlier than this date may attract a notice from our Rangers requesting removal.
