At its meeting of 21 September 2021, the Council resolved to support standard Scheme Amendment 18 which is in relation to No. 31 (Lot 253) Terrace, East Fremantle.

Scheme Amendment 18 proposes to reclassify a former portion of Lot 311 (No. 43) View Terrace, East Fremantle (228m² of the Water Tower land) which is now amalgamated with No. 31 View Terrace. It is proposed to reclassify the land from its current Local Scheme Reserve (‘Public Purpose: Water Authority of Western Australia’) to an appropriate ‘Residential R17.5’ zoning under the Town’s Local Planning Scheme No. 3. This will formalise the existing use of this land for residential purposes (i.e. landscaped garden).

Submissions on the Scheme Amendment can also be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Town of East Fremantle on Submission Form 3A and lodged on or before Saturday, 26 February 2022.  Should you require more than one submission form per household additional forms are also available from the Town Hall or can be downloaded here.
