Temporary Road Closures - Seeking Comment Now

In accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995, The Town is seeking comments regarding the proposed temporary closure of two roads as below:

• Sewell Street and Canning Highway (May 2022 – July 2022); and
• Petra Street and Canning Highway (July 2022 – September 2022).

The road closure will assist with the construction of the Pipes for Perth project being undertaken by the Water Corporation. Both separate temporary closures are to be for a period of approximately six weeks.

Comments will be open until 5:00pm Monday 25 April 2022.

Background Information

Water Corporation is renewing 3km of water pipes in East Fremantle, Bicton and Palmyra to improve the security and reliability of the water supply to the area.
