Following discussions regarding the future leadership direction of the Town, Jonathan Throssell has agreed to resign from his position as Chief Executive Officer.
The resignation is not related to misconduct, performance concerns or any finding of unsatisfactory performance.
The parties have reached this outcome by mutual agreement and Jonathan respects Council's responsibility to determine the leadership direction it believes is appropriate for the future of the Town.
Jonathan is proud of the achievements of the Town during his tenure and remains grateful for the support of staff, elected members, community members and stakeholders.
The Council wishes to thank Jonathan for his service to the Town of East Fremantle.
The Council is focused on moving forward and will not be making further comments on what is a confidential employment matter.
