At its Ordinary Council Meeting in March, Council resolved to initiate Amendment No. 20 (Short-term Rental Accommodation) to Local Planning Scheme No. 3.
This is in response to the State Government’s request for local governments to align their local planning schemes with changes made to State planning legislation for Short-term Rental Accommodation.
The Scheme Amendment No. 20 Report and Council Minutes provide further detail and background information on these changes to the Planning Scheme Text.

Submissions on the Amendment can be made via the Town’s consultation page by Monday 11 August 2025.
