Mooring pen and parking fees set to raise from 1 July

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 20 May, Council adopted the 2025/26 Schedule of Fees and Charges.

The new schedule will see a 4.95% increase to most fees and charges effective from 1 July, with some additional increases being applied to mooring pen and parking fees.

To ensure that ratepayers are not subsiding this private service, an increase in fees will be applied as follows:

In addition, the new fees and charges also proposed an alternative parking fee structure with a reduction in short stay parking and a fee increase for longer stays.

Therefore, visitors to who park for one hour will see a reduction in fees from $4.90 to $3, and those who park for two hours or more will pay the following:
