The East Fremantle community is invited to provide feedback on Town of East Fremantle’s Draft Council Plan 2026-2031.
The Local Government Act 1995 requires all local governments to have a plan for the future.
Combining the Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan into one document, the Draft Council Plan 2026-2036 articulates the community’s vision, outcomes and strategic priorities for the next four years.
It also provides an integrated roadmap for the Town to follow over the next 10 years.
Town of East Fremantle Mayor Tony Natale said the inaugural Council Plan was developed with the community, following extensive consultation.
“Residents, ratepayers, business owners and groups were invited to nominate new projects, and changes or improvements for the Town,” he said.
“We received a lot of great feedback which has been distilled into 11 core outcomes that the Town will work towards achieving.”
Mayor Natale said the comment period was an opportunity for community members to review the draft and provide final comments before the plan is adopted by Council.
The document can be downloaded from the Town’s website, with a hard copy available for viewing at the Town Hall reception.
Comments are invited until 4pm on Thursday 11 June and should be submitted in writing:
