Residents are encouraged to drop into the croquet grounds at the East Fremantle Community Park in Allen Street to try their skills using a mallet to hit the ball between the hoops.
Barbara Wyatt (front right) first tried her hand at croquet seven years ago and loves the game of golf croquet the best.
"For me, it's all about getting out, walking, talking to people and belonging to a club," she said.
