Residents can beautify their garden and provide habitats for native animals with subsidised waterwise native plants this month.
The Town has once again partnered with APACE Nursery in North Fremantle to provide up to 20 native plants per household at a subsidised cost of $3 each for residents.
The Native Plant Subsidy Sale runs until Saturday 30 May or while stocks last. Residents are encouraged to bring proof of residential address and photo ID.
APACE is open for the plant sale from Wednesday to Saturday from 8.30am to 2pm.
The subsidy scheme has been running for over 20 years and is proudly co-funded by the Water Corporation’s Waterwise Greening Scheme.
To celebrate the Planting Month of May, APACE Nursery have also organised five action packed Fridays and Saturdays of hands-on workshops and talks.
Visit the APACE website for more information and to book a workshop.
