Bulk waste temporarily unavailable at Fremantle Recycling Centre from 30 October

Published on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at 9:20:28 AM

The bulk waste area at the Fremantle Recycling Centre will be closed for upgrade works from Friday 30 October, reopening on Friday 13 November.

All other areas will remain open as usual.

Please do not take general bulk junk during this closure. If you arrive with bulk waste, you’ll need to take it home and return once the area reopens.

Alternatively, you can book a Verge Valet™ collection or visit the City of Cockburn’s landfill facility (fees apply).
