Community members aged 18 and over are invited to participate in the 2025 MARKYT ® Community Scorecard to help shape the future of the Town of East Fremantle.
Residents, ratepayers, local businesses, community groups and visitors have several weeks to complete the survey, which opened on Monday 4 August.
Feedback is anonymous and will help the Town understand what it is doing well, where improvements are needed and what matters most to the community.
Town of East Fremantle Mayor Jim O’Neill said this important biennial survey was a key opportunity for residents and ratepayers to have their say and to influence planning and decision making for the years ahead.
“The Community Scorecard is more than just data, it’s a reflection on how our community feels about the services the Town provides,” he said.
“We urge everyone in our community to tell us what you value, what needs attention and how we can better meet your needs. Your feedback will help us to determine what is working, and how we can grow our community to be an even better place to live in.”
“This year, results will inform the development of our new Plan for the Future – our integrated Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Plan.”
By participating in the MARKYT ® Benchmarking Excellence Program, the Town will also get to benchmark its performance against other Local Governments across Australia.
Hard copies of the scorecard have been posted to all residents and businesses in East Fremantle. Alternatively, the survey can be completed online until Friday 22 August.
All eligible respondents who submit an online response by the closing date may enter a prize draw to WIN a $200 eGift card. Competition terms and conditions apply.
