East Freo welcomes new citizens

Sixteen residents have officially become Australian Citizens this week, marking an important milestone in their immigration journey.

The new citizens from a diverse range of countries took the pledge at a ceremony at the Town Hall on Monday 16 March.

Town of East Fremantle Mayor Tony Natale welcomed the conferees to our community.

“Congratulations on choosing to make Australia home,” he said

“This is a very special day for you as it is for the Town. We are pleased to have a multicultural community in the Town, and you bring with you new stories, experiences and cultures to our community.

“Welcome and may you always feel a sense of belonging, pride and sense of home in East Fremantle.”

The 16 residents were from Bangladesh, Canda, China, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and Wales.
