Due to a delay by the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) in receiving auditor documentation for the East Fremantle Community Park, the Town’s Annual Report will not be finalised by 31 December.
The OAG has advised the Town that the audit sign-off has been deferred to next year. We are awaiting confirmation from the OAG regarding a revised timeframe.
In the meantime, the Town has notified the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety that the sign off timing has been revised.
We will communicate the dates for the report to be received by Council, and for the Annual Electors Meeting, in due course.
