Bulk waste collections 2024/25

Green Waste and Hard Waste collection dates have been confirmed for 2024/25. Green Waste Collection will start from Monday 7 October and Bulk Waste collection will begin Monday 9 December. Please ensure waste is not placed earlier than seven days prior to collection. View the Bulk Waste collections page for more information.

 

Public Notice: Fremantle Traffic Bridge Roadworks Update

Over the coming weeks traffic changes are needed for service relocation works and to set up the area for construction of the temporary jetties.

Tydeman Road: Queen Victoria Street and Tydeman Road Intersection

Sunday 18 August to Friday 30 August 2024

  • No right turn from Queen Victoria Street (northbound) onto Tydeman Road to facilitate ATCO gas works.
  • Pedestrian and cyclist access maintained. Please follow the traffic management in the area.

Notice of Upcoming Traffic Changes

Road users are to expect the upcoming traffic changes during August/September for service relocation and piling works. More information will be provided prior to implementation.

Fremantle Traffic Bridge: Swan Street to Canning Highway

  • Closure of the shared path over the Fremantle Traffic Bridge during periods when piling works are taking place.

Canning Highway: Queen Victoria Street to East Street

  • Intermittent lane closures on Canning Highway
  • Intermittent footpath closures on Canning Highway.

Queen Victoria Street: Canning Highway to Swan Street

  • Night-time closure of the Fremantle Traffic Bridge.
