The Town's next green waste verge collection is from 6am on Monday, 18 September 2023.
A reminder, below, about what will and will not be collected.
What WILL be collected:
- tree and shrub prunings up to
- 300mm (12 inches) in diameter
- 1.5 metres (5ft) in length
- 1.5 metres (5ft) in height (height of pile)
- three cubic metres of green waste
What will NOT be collected:
- bags or boxes of leaves, loose leaves or grass clippings
- dug-out lawn, sand or soil
- long branches (over 1.5m)
- garden chemicals, garden pots and reticulation
- general junk
- sawn or treated timber
- green waste placed near services, reticulation, walls or structures.
- green waste on vacant land or public reserves.
