Following settlement of 32 Preston Point Road (the Site) in August 2023, the Town has granted a demolition permit to the Landowner for the demolition of the former aged-care building that currently occupies the Site.
Demolition is anticipated to occur this week.
The landowner is currently investigating potential development outcomes for the Site in consultation with the Town, and a landowner decision on the future development outcome will be made over the coming months.
The landowner will continue to consult with the Town on the Site’s future and the community will have the opportunity to comment on proposals as part of the planning process.
