Council Endorses Climate Emergency Action Plan 2023-2033

The Town is thrilled to announce that at last night's Ordinary Council Meeting, Council endorsed the Climate Emergency Action Plan 2023-2033. 

This action plan, which meets the 7 Strategic Objectives set out in the Town's Climate Emergency Strategy 2022-2032 adopted last year, is the second step in the Town's response to climate change and includes detailed programs, projects, initiatives and actions to support Council and the community to transition to a low-carbon lifestyle.
The Town would like to acknowledge the collaborative efforts of Ironbark Sustainability, East Freo CARG, our Elected Members, the local community and Town Staff in developing this action plan.
