The Town of East Fremantle has prepared some modifications to Local Planning Policy 3.1.3 – Town Centre Redevelopment Guidelines to:
- include reference to policies more recently adopted by Council and the State Government
- provide a general update and clarification, and
- reference standards for specific properties resulting from recent scheme amendments.
No major changes are proposed at this time. The updates provide an interim position on acceptable development in the Town Centre Redevelopment Area. Further planning studies and precinct planning for the Town Centre and its surrounds (guided by the Local Planning Strategy and the Local Commercial Centres Assessment Strategy) will supersede this policy in the future.
