Works to upgrade Riverside Road in East Fremantle are now well underway and users are asked to share access to the area safely and respectfully.
The works that commenced just after the Easter long weekend will result in a widening of the bicycle lane, and other improvements that will bring the road up to Australian standards, and will make travelling along Riverside Road safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
Riverside Road is a stunning location, winding as it does along the Swan River, and connecting pedestrians, cyclists and other road users with picnic spots, water access and connections north towards Perth and south towards Fremantle.
