Routine inspection work is being undertaken on Fremantle Traffic Bridge from Monday 19 July for up to six weeks.
The inspection work is part of our routine maintenance for all timber bridges and includes all elements above and below the bridge structure. These works are not affiliated with the Swan River Crossing Project. However, it will help determine the safety of the existing bridge structure during construction of the new Fremantle Traffic Bridge, which is expected to commence early in 2022.
Please be patient and allow extra travel time, with lanes closures and speed reductions in place across the bridge.
