Local artist, Nathan Hoyle, has transformed our local water pump station into a colourful mural as part of Water Corporation's Splash of Colour program.

Water Corporation selected the building for its prominent waterfront location and to give back to our community following recent upgrade work to ageing water pipes in the area.

Last week Water Minister Dave Kelly unveiled the revitalised water pump station and was joined at the occasion by Lisa O'Malley MLA, Mayor Jim O'Neill, artist Nathan Hoyle, along with the year three teacher and students from Richmond Primary School, who helped design the artwork during a workshop. This workshop also taught students about the water cycle and the importance of being waterwise.
Students from Richmond Primary School were very excited to be involved in the design process and are pleased they can ride, walk or drive past the vibrant building.
The Town would like to thank the Water Minister, Water Corporation, Lisa O'Malley MLA, artist Nathan Hoyle and staff and students from Richmond Primary school for transforming this building for all to enjoy.
