A development application comprising the restoration of the Royal George Hotel for commercial purposes and the construction of 24 apartments has been submitted to the State Development Assessment Unit of the Department of Planning; Lands and Heritage for their assessment and subsequent determination by the WA Planning Commission.
The development application has been referred to Council for its comments.
At the Ordinary Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday 20 July at 6.30pm, Council will be considering a submission to the WAPC regarding the development application.
