East Fremantle is excited to, once again, be part of the Garage Sale Trail
This year the Town staff are hosting a stall at the Town Hall - lead by example we say!
It’s a great chance for everybody to declutter, raise some money and meet the locals, plus highlight the ways in which the small actions we all take as individuals can make a big difference to our community and our environment.

- 2,000,000+ - the number of items listed for sale
- $370 – the average amount of money raised per sale
- 379,959 – the number of Australians who participated in 2017
- 15,000+ - the number of garage sales and stalls across the country
- 250kgs – the average amount of household items redistributed per sale
- 50 – the average number of new connections made at a sale over the weekend
- 72% - the percentage of participants in 2017who were first-time garage sale hosts
- 70% - the percentage of participants who are more likely to reduce waste after the event
