CWA Melville/Fremantle Branch Meeting

Past Event

We meet at 10am every second Tuesday morning of every month, and from 19th September we will also meet at 6.30pm on the third Thursday evening of every month, with both meetings at the RSL hall in Bicton.

New members are welcome and you can attend your first three meetings for free to find out if CWA suits you.

We do fundraising and other activities which assist our local communities, like making fiddle rugs for aged care services, or fundraising for Zonta House Refuge. We support our rural and remote families, for example raising money for RFDS, and send aid to overseas countries, eg, stationery and pencils to Papua New Guinea.

We also invite speakers to talk about various subjects, visit other CWA branches, and have regular social gatherings for coffee & chats. Some members are passionate about crafts, some are not, some love cooking, some don't, but if you would like to meet other women for conversations, craft, cooking, crocheting, caring and coffee, give us a call.

PS - You do not need to have lived in the country to belong to the Country Women's Association!
