Celebrating 30 years in George Street!

The Town of East Fremantle's popular annual event will once again grace gorgeous George Street’s vibrant thoroughfare. 

What's On?

  • George Street and other #eastfreo traders displaying food, art, fashion, and local products. 
  • Artisan market stalls, from both local & neighbouring suburb businesses
  • Main Stage music
  • Buskers
  • Free kids activities
  • Street food 
  • Community Information... with an eco-friendly focus

Event Details

What: The Town of East Fremantle's George Street Festival

When: Sunday 1 December, 11am to 7pm

Where: George Street, East Fremantle WA 6158

Cost: This is a free community event. Gold coin donations are welcomed (at the Primary School - oval parking, and the Town Tent), these will be shared between the community groups assisting with the festival.

Transport & Parking

  • Be eco-friendly and consider public transport
  • Via Canning Highway (from South) – turn right into East Street, parking is available at the East Fremantle Primary School.
  • Via Canning Highway (from North) – turn left onto Stirling Highway, then left into Marmion Street, parking is available at the East Fremantle Primary School.
  • Via Marmion Street – head to East Fremantle Primary School, at the East Street intersection (for parking details, see below).
  • Road Closures – George Street will be closed from East Street to Duke Street (time TBA). This closure will also affect the George Street intersections at Glyde Street, Hubble Street, Sewell Street and King Street.
  • Parking – the preferred parking place is East Fremantle Primary School (the perfect place for your gold coin donation!), it’s less than a 400 metre walk to George Street via East or Glyde Streets. For mobility impaired visitors, a drop off zone will be available on Glyde Street.
