EAST FREMANTLE FESTIVAL 2016

East Fremantle’s café strip on George Street, will once again be the location for the annual East Fremantle Festival, on Sunday 4 December between 1pm and 7pm. Download a program here!

Residents are reminded that George Street will be closed from East Street to Duke Street on Sunday 4 December 2016 from 7.30 am to 9.00pm.

This free street festival will feature jazz music, street food, an artisan market and free kids entertainment. The George Street restaurants, cafes, stores and businesses will also be open for business.

As the theme for this year’s festival is jazz music, Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys will be the main act and performing on the main stage at 6pm. There will also be other jazz musicians performing on the stage throughout the afternoon.

If you love to perform you’ve still got time to put in an expression of interest in, to strut your stuff at the 2016 East Fremantle Festival. You don’t need to perform jazz to busk at the festival. So if you’re an entertainer and fancy having a pitch at the festival, please contact the Festival Manager (Heart Inspired Events) on 0415 649 265.
